A drug is any chemical taken into the body that alters the normal body processes. There are many different reasons why people take drugs.
Inhalants are chemicals found in ordinary household or workplace products that people inhale on purpose to get “high.” Things like nail polish remover, cleaning products, and hair spray are all different kinds of inhalants.
You are a research expert hired by the Department of Health and Human Services to investigate the drugs available to teens today. You will be assigned a particular drug to research. The Department of Health and Human Services would like to know the social, physical and, psychological implications of the drug on people. After researching the information, you will be required to make a fact-based presentation with a persuasive position as to why NOT to use this drug.
